What is our role in collaborating with, for and from communities?

This theme highlights the role that art and design researchers have in collaborating with, for and from specific communities.

Through spatial interventions, dialogue tools or pedagogical framings, artistic and design research creates space to understand what it means to live together and how we might common otherwise. As generative practices, art and design offer a multitude of ways to forge new links between people, institutions, and spaces.
